Does the economic situation we are in lead it’s way into the rental sector? Well yes and no. Some landlords have finally caught on to the idea that they will heed to offer deals or reduce rents but it has taken some time.

Most are willing to sit on their vacancies for a long period of time, sometimes 2 months, before they decide to reduce the price. And this is now what we have been experiencing. Landlords who now are finally offering deals. The are reducing rents only slightly but more so are offering a Free Months Rent or No Fee and sometimes both.

So they say the market is soft. Well we disagree at East Hudson.  The apartment rental market correlates directly with jobs. As unemployment rates decrease the search for apartments increase. And thats what we have been seeing. We are giving you the green light.  What does this mean for those of you searching for an apartment? GET UP AND RENT!!! There are great prices right now and great incentives, either by way of free rent or no fees.
